The new additive TBLS+ establishes Nano-Technogy to control the crystal size of 4 basic lead sulphate for positive plates of lead acid batteries by use of very small seeding crystals.

The seeding crystals speed up the crystal growth and come to control the crystal size by

• the recipe of the customer
• and the amount of TBLS+.

• Without use of TBLS+ spontaneous crystal growth runs to large 4 basic lead sulphate crystals of about 50µm size.
• TBLS+ allows to control of the crystal size of 4 basic lead sulphate from 2-3µm up to 10µm.
• TBLS+ is for multiple use in common curing and drying equipment with and without use of steam and in particular for the advanced continuous curing and drying technology CONCURE 

The manufacturing process of TBLS+ garantees a very narrow distribution of Micronized Tetra Basic Lead Sulphate crystals centered < 0.5 µm. Therefore we denote it Nano-Technology.
